Democracy Earth

A non-profit organization co-founded by Santiago Siri and others, dedicated to building blockchain-based democratic governance infrastructure. Democracy Earth’s work includes developing sovereign identity systems, on-chain voting protocols, proof of personhood mechanisms, and the concept of “social smart contracts” — governance agreements encoded as transparent, auditable code.

Democracy Earth represents the technical layer of Network Nations’ institutional dimension: building the cryptographic infrastructure that enables self-governance and functional sovereignty for distributed communities without dependence on state-issued identity or centralized institutions. Their work on liquid democracy and delegative voting is directly applicable to the Network Nations governance stack.
