Felix Beer

Researcher at Harvard and at Blockchain.gov, a European-funded project focused on distributed governance at local, institutional, and global levels. Co-host of the Network Nations podcast series alongside Primavera De Filippi, and co-author of the Network Nations essay.

His work focuses on the intersection of networked governance, civil society, and digital coordination. He joined the Network Nations conceptual project roughly one to two years after De Filippi and colleagues began developing it, coming with his own background in communities exploring collective action and governance beyond the nation-state. He is a key architect of the Network Nations Alliance’s framing of metapolitics and the distinction between Network Nations and Network States.
