Purpose

The Steward Council coordinates the operational aspects of the Alliance. Stewards work together to maintain platforms, manage resources, support activities, and ensure the Alliance can fulfill its purpose. The Council serves the membership rather than directing it.

Composition

All Stewards are members of the Steward Council.

Authority

The Steward Council has authority over:

  • Day-to-day operational decisions
  • Platform and tool administration
  • Treasury management within approved parameters
  • Activity support and resource allocation
  • Communications and external representation

The Steward Council does not have authority over:

  • Constitutional changes (requires Alliance Assembly)
  • Fundamental shifts in purpose or direction
  • Matters the Assembly has reserved to itself
